September/October Sermon Series "The Cost of Living as a Disciple of Christ"
 It costs nothing to become a disciple of Jesus Christ.  His shed blood and sacrificed life pay the cost of our ransom.  The Holy Spirit's work through Word and Sacrament creates faith in our hearts and ushers us into the family of God.
But what does it cost to remain a disciple?  What costs and sacrifices are necessary to live as a disciple of Christ?  In the months before he sacrificed his life on our behalf, Jesus offered considerable teaching on "The Cost of Living As a Disciple of Christ."
