How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? The Bricks 4 Kidz® Junior Robotics camp offers all the fun of building with LEGO® Bricks, plus the challenge of computer programming!   littleBits makes a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks empowering everyone to create inventions, large and small.
Bat League: Heroes & Villians          1pm-4pm
Enter the dark city where a dangerous jokester and other evil villains wreak havoc. Thankfully there is a bat hero who comes out each night to fight against these evil-doers! The good guys will ride into action as campers build motorized models of the bat hero’s speedy vehicle and bat girl’s sleek motorcycle
July 17- 21:                      Mining & Crafting:                         9am - 12pm
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. Campers will be challenged to bring their virtual designs to life by crafting their shelters and some mob, critters and tools using LEGO® Bricks. Are you ready for a challenge?
                                               Brick City Engineers                   1pm -4pm
Let’s build a CITY! There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the ideas, plans and building skills to make it all come together? How do I Become a Member at Deer Valley Lutheran Church?

Membership at DVLC is more than your name on a piece of paper. It is an adoption into a family of believers.

Those joining DVLC from other WELS churches will find our beliefs similar. Those coming from another church body or from no religious background at all engage in a Bible Information Class taught by the pastor.

What are the services like?

Service times are Saturdays at 6:00 pm & Sundays at 9:00 am. Dress is casual like most Phoenix destinations; you're always welcome regardless of your wardrobe. A nursery is available in the church for those with young children.

What is DVLC all about?

We are here to share the Gospel message and teach others about Jesus.

Deer Valley Lutheran Church

The Great Commission of Matthew 28 tells us that we must be going into all the world, making disciples of persons in all nations. We are part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod which has ministries throughout the world.   Our offerings go to sustaining the ministry of preaching the gospel message of Jesus here and worldwide.

We have different events throughout the year to help with our Outreach:

SPRING: Easter for kids--a one-day VBS format program for children ages 4-12 geared to the Easter theme.

SUMMER: VBS-a week long VBS for children ages 4-12 where the children learn about JESUS in a fun energetic way.

FALL:Trunk or Treat-  Trick or treating in our parking lot with cars' trunks decorated in differnent themes.  A safe environment for families with games and different activities.

WINTER: Living Nativity with Petting zoo-We have three different scenes of the Christmas story with a petting zoo, craft station, carolers, goodies and the good news of Jesus' birth.
Our Kick Off weekend is scheduled for August 19/20.  The "Fall" Bible studies, programs and classes all officially begin.  Monday night small group Bible study at 7pm, Tuesday night starts our FPU class at 6:30 pm. Confirmation, Choir, Junior Youth Group and mid week Bible study start on Wednesday Aug. 23.
